Blackpool's Barclays Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday, December 26 will be subject to a 12 noon pitch inspection on the day of the fixture.
Ground staff at Bloomfield Road have been working throughout the night and will continue to work round the clock to try and ensure that the game takes place.
While it has been well documented that the club does not have undersoil heating, several industrial hot air blowers have been sourced along with additional frost protection covers.
The timing of the pitch inspection has been made in consultation with the Barclays Premier League, match referee Mike Oliver and officials from Liverpool FC.
Club officials remain in regular contact with all parties and will continue to monitor the weather forecasts up to the scheduled kick off.
Liverpool are firm favourites for the clash, with William Hill offering odds on Liverpool to win at 3/4. Click here for a free bet on the game.
