Liverpool Slump To A 2-1 Defeat Against Blackpool

Fernando Torres' third minute goal wasn't enough to seal victory for Liverpool as we slumped to a 2-1 loss thanks to an 11th minute goal from Gary Taylor-Fletcher and a 69th minute goal from DJ Campbell.

Things looked good for Liverpool after a smart pass from Martin Kelly set up Fernando Torres who finished nicely.

Although Liverpool performed well for pretty much the whole 90 minutes, 2 defensive lapses in concentration were capitalised on by Blackpool who took all 3 points as a result.

Afterwards Kenny Dalglish stated that he thought we played well all game and the things that went wrong are easily fixed on the training ground, and considering he hasn't had much time to get the players playing how he wants them too, the short term future may be bright after all.

The next game is a massive game, as we host Everton at Anfield on Sunday.
