Liverpool have been dealt a big blow with the news that Jonjo Shelvey will be out of action for 12 weeks with a tendon problem in his knee.
The Liverpool & England U19 midfielder will now begin a lengthy rehabilitation programme with the club's medical staff at Melwood.
Earlier today Shelvey said: "I'm a bit down at the moment but I'm just hoping now I can come back stronger".
"I am now going to take a 12 week rehabilitation and hopefully I'll be back soon".
