Liverpool are looking increasingly likely to sign the superstar Luis Suarez, as it seems the only real team in competition for the aces signature is Tottenham.
The striker is certaintly nothing to sniff at with an amazing 110 goals in 154 appearances for Ajax & Uruguay combined, and he is looking for a move away from the Amsterdam Arena after manager Martin Jol left the club.Ajax have set a valuation of $27,000,000 (£20,000,000) on his head but with them in financial difficulty this figure could be reduced significantly.
Liverpool, like Tottenham, have named Suarez as their main target for the January transfer window, as they look to provide Fernando Torres with some extra support, and with the striker rumoured to have named Liverpool as his preferred choice things look positive for Liverpool in what could make an already dramatic January even more dramatic!
