Ryan Babel has officially been charged with improper conduct by the FA after comments made on Twitter following Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Ryan Babel posted the following comments on Twitter, "And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH", SMH is an abbreviation of "Scratching My Head" or "Shaking My Head"
He later posted a link to the following picture:
Babel later apologised on Twitter but the FA still deemed a fine appropriate.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish said he felt it was a joke and hoped no further action would be taken, which unfortunately wasn't the case
