After no rumours atall surrounding Stephen Warnock, it seems almost certain that he will be the first player to arrive at Anfield this January, with multiple sources revealing similar information.
The only thing currently unknown is whether the move will be a full transfer or a loan for the rest of the season, but either way, it seems to be set to end up permanent, with Warnock seeming to have lost his place in the Aston Villa starting 11.
Liverpool Football Club officially revealed that they enquired about the possibility of signing Warnock on loan for the remainder of the season, and the player was told he is free to leave the club.
This would be fantastic news with current left back Paul Konchesky underperforming all season and never really showing the potential to be the solution to Liverpool's long standing left back problem, a problem that has resulted in Right Back Glen Johnson playing in the left back role.
