Poulson On Agger And Clarke

Christian Poulsen has hailed Daniel Agger as a major asset to Liverpool.

The Danish international has had his injury problems this season but he's been a regular fixture at centre back under Kenny Dalglish, and Poulsen insists Agger's best in a red shirt is still yet to come.

He said "We all know the quality Daniel has and he is a really good player".

"I know he had problems with injuries at the start of the season but I hope he can now have some luck and stay injury free".

"He is doing well for us at the moment and I'm pretty sure he will be an important player for us for the rest of the season".

When quized about Steve Clarke he said "Training is different and when a new manager and new coach comes in everybody has to be focused and it's really good".

"We are enjoying adapting to a different style and Steve is a really good coach. We are using the ball a lot more in the training sessions and it's good".

"We have been doing some pretty hard sessions but that is a good thing because everyone can see in the games we are playing that we are working hard".

"The atmosphere around the club is good so hopefully we can take that into the games and climb higher up the table".
